Dianna Lynn Pineiro (Russell) of Greenville, OH, passed away in Dayton, OH on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 54, due to complications from a heart attack.
She was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1965 in Chicago, Cook County, IL to Clyde Clovis Russell Sr, and Josephine Marilyn (Maniglia) Russell. Dianna was one of seven children with six siblings: William (Billy) Maniglia, Clyde Clovis Russell Jr, Rocco Russell Sr, Deborah (Morgan) Russell, Elizabeth Russell, and Christopher Russell Sr. - they were her very first playmates, and best friends.

At 8 years old, Dianna met the love of her life, Jesus. He was an older man, (age 9). Although they didn't become an "official couple" until Monday, May 11, 1981 (ages 16 &17), she knew he would be her husband & father of her children.
Ten years later, on Saturday, March 2, 1991 they married at the Cook County Courthouse - Justice of the Peace in Chicago, IL. Together, they shared a life and family for 39 years.

Dianna worked jobs here and there but the majority of her career spent in childcare, because it became something she truly enjoyed. She got her start in California, at a childcare center on a military base. Her joy came from teaching and caring for the children in her groups. She worked with children of all ages, from infant to elementary age. She would say she would go to work "for the children". She continued working in childcare through all the military moves - California to Kansas to Georgia.

As ARMY active duty military family, the Pinerio family left Chicago for Ft. Irwin, CA. (1991-1995)
1995-96, they moved to Manhattan, KS, and then 1996-97 to Fort Riley, KS.
Jesus' final duty station was Ft. Benning, GA.
In 1997, they purchased their first home in Columbus, GA, but eventually put permanent roots down in Greenville, OH in 2014 - where Dianna would live out the rest of her life.

Dianna would always have a camera in her hand, even from a young age. She truly enjoyed taking many, many pictures of her family, most especially of her grandbabies. If there was a family get together or event, she would always have her camera. Toward the end of her life, she began quilting. She enjoyed making things, and began making very large quilts. She came up with a plan to make quilts first, for all of her grandbabies, and eventually for her children, and the rest of her family. But, due to her health, was only able to complete quilts for three of her granddaughters, and herself. Dianna was also an avid reader from the time she began to read. She also enjoyed writing. Her letters were infamous among family and friends.

Dianna was survived by her husband, Jesus Pineiro, her children Rosa Pabon (Storm Woody), Jessica Pineiro, Eric (Whitney) Pineiro. Her 10 grandbabies Kaydence, Lyric, Aaron, Alejandro (Alex), Thomas, Layla, Ayden, Destiny, and Lucas. Dianna's siblings Clyde Russell Sr, Rocco Russell Sr, and his wife Gerilyn Russell, Deborah (Patrick) Morgan, and Christopher (Delana) Russell Sr. Her nieces and nephews Jeremy, Starlette, Charolette, Jessica, Clyde III, Cora, Renee, Rocco Jr, Sean, and Christopher (Robbie) Jr. As well as her great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many, many cousins who were her first playmates too. Her mother-in-law Elizabeth Gonzalez, and father-in-law William Pineiro Sr. Throughout her 54 years, Dianna made many friends all over the United States.

She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Russell, brother William (Billy) Maniglia, nephew David Russell, father Clyde Russell Sr, grandbaby Angel Nevaeh Woody, mother Josephine Russell, and nephew Anthony (Tony) Brower.

"I wanna say I lived each day until I died. You know that I been something in somebody's life. The hearts I have touched. Will be the proof that I leave. That I made a difference. And this world will see. I was here, I lived, I loved, I was here. I did, I've done, everything I wanted. And it was more that I thought it would be. I will leave my mark so everyone will know I was here." ~Beyonce, "I Was Here"
