CARLISLE, Edward Lee -age 70 of Dayton, passed away on May 31, 2021.

He worked for 20+ years converting vehicles for handicap use by modifying the steering column and making the overall vehicle handicap accessible.

He adored his beloved dog Samantha, he collected antiques, WWII medals & war memorabilia, wartime model airplanes, knives and loved his Snap-On Tools! He belonged to Eagles Lodge #1221, AmVets Lodge #2003 and VFW Lodge #2800. If you knew Eddie, he was never seen without his silver & turquoise rings.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Edward & Ethel Anna (Hagedorn) Carlisle.

He is survived by his son Edward Joseph (Courtney) Carlisle of Huber Heights, daughter Amy Marie Nelson of Illinois; grandchildren Connor David Carlisle-Ackley, Bransen Carlisle-Miller, Kaydence Alexis Paige-Carlisle; sisters Suda Kae Carlisle of California, Tassie J. Miller of Xenia & Margaret A. Lyden of Dayton. Nephews; Scott (Erica) Miller, Luke (Beth) Miller, Damon (Bailey) Lyden, Ryan Lyden & Niece Kristen Lyden.
