Geraldine, "Jeri" Louise Roberts, age 87, of Huber Heights, in Dayton, peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 8th, 2020. After contracting the Covid- 19 virus, Jeri was brought to Soin Medical Center where she succumbed to Covid pneumonia while surrounded by her loving family.

Jeri was born December 5th, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio; the oldest daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret Brown. She was happily married in 1951, to her late husband Alfred George Roberts.

Jeri lived everyday with purpose. Self employed, she devoted herself to her family.
She spent many happy years at her lakehouse in Cumberland Lake, KY where she loved to take boat rides and water ski. She also enjoyed time at Fort Myers Beach, FL for Christmas and the holidays, spent with her family.

Jeri is survived by her daughter Renae Stayrook, her son Todd Roberts and her five grandchildren, Alex, Jeff, Allie, Ryleigh and Carley. And one great grandchild, June. She is also survived by her younger sister Patricia and her husband Val Lulaks, along with her cat Toby.

Jeri is predeceased by her husband Alfred George Roberts, along with her cat Patches and dog Brandy.

Private arrangements have been made through Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home.

To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, Release me, Let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave you my love. You can only guess
how much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown. But now it's time I traveled on alone.

So grieve a while for me if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part. So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away. For life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and
"Welcome Home"

May the Lord give you and the entire Roberts family Peace and Comfort during these sorrowful and difficult times. Thank God you all were able to gather together for the recent wedding that you enjoyed so much to share some love. Now that was a Blessing. Know that Jeri is resting in Peace with the All Mighty Father. I will be planting a tree in her memory.
Sincerely your friend Rosetta
