How to say THANK You to one of the most inspiring, influential ladies in my life?...... I think all of the lucky students of Suzanne will completely agree that she gave tough love , but also such wisdom, versatility, savvy, and passion to us as well. Once you earned her respect, she mentored like no other ! I wanted to BE her! (since I am 5' 10", this was slightly impossible, but boy I tried!) I do not know how Suzanne was psychic in the knowledge that I would have a Broadway & West End career? That I would go on to choreograph and direct internationally? That so many things I have done in my life, have echoed hers? She is with me in every creative thing I do. I tell ALL my cast members things she has told me: give them a style of performing I know she helped me cultivate in myself. I her her voice come out of me and I smile! Suzanne knew I could do it. She knew I had the "psychological ability" to be in this Business we call Show. I will never stop being grateful for having her in my life. I will never let her words and teachings disappear. Like so many of her students and loved ones, Suzanne's amazing passion and spirit will live on forever! My love and support to her family today. Although there is an ocean between us, I am with you in spirit....
