Linda Diane Morgan, aka Linda Hart, age 52, of Dayton, OH, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton from complications due to Covid-19.

Born September 5, 1968 in Birmingham, AL at Saint Vincent Hospital. Linda is survived by her father, Floyd E. Hart, stepmother Amy (Rice) Hart, brother Marty Hart, sister Angela (Ken) Luneke, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephew and many friends.

Preceded in death by her mother Loraine Diane Hart (July 2014).

Linda was a participant in the Special Olympics of Dayton, worked in Hospitality Services at St. Leonard’s while attending Centerville High School-where she graduated from and proudly accepted her diploma in 1991. Linda attended workshop for many years at the Kuntz Center (now Better Living) and most recently at Via Quest.

Linda was a long time member of Fairview United Methodist Church and an active participant in the Faith Sunday School Class-where she enjoyed singing. Special memorial service will also be held by the church at a later date when it is deemed safer to do so.

Linda enjoyed the simple things in life. Her morning cup of coffee, always wearing her most favorite watch, a trip to McDonalds, anything chocolate- although chocolate ice cream was her favorite, animals-especially dogs, music, singing and dancing and being silly, coloring and games, movies and watching her favorite T.V. shows - Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, I love Lucy, Scooby Doo, Sponge Bob and Paw Patrol just to name a few-there were so many!

Linda was sweet and kind and genuinely cared for others. She loved unconditionally with her whole heart, greeted you with a wave, a high five, a thumbs up or a warm hand shake. Her smile so big it showed in her eyes and there was always lots of love in every single hug she gave. She was truly a ray of sunshine!

Linda will be dearly missed by her family, friends and by all who knew and loved her. Especially her longtime church friend Pat White with whom she held a very special bond. Her Haloran House family-Jean Walls, Tamara Tomlin, Benita Davey, all of the CSS staff who worked at Haloran where she had lived since the 1990’s and the special staff members at Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services.
Service details to be forthcoming.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Linda’s honor to Hospice of Dayton or Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association.

The family of Linda Morgan wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her time of need at Miami Valley Hospital and at Hospice of Dayton.
