I had the honor to get to know Phil through the Wednesday morning Bible Study Group at Incarnation. He always had a kind smile and warmth about him that made him someone you were drawn to talking to. Phil had many stories of trips he had taken and was willing to share his love of his Catholic faith. When Phil spoke you were eager to listen and learn. He inspired me in many ways and I will miss him at our Wednesday morning discussions. God has welcomed him into heaven with open arms.

Scott and Family,
One of the great memories your family shared with us throughout your mom's employment at the City was the "packages" she received in the mail. During your dad's years at GM, he would design packaging for parts that had to be sent to various destinations throughout the country and beyond. To determine if the packaging was up to acceptable standards, he would send "test packages" to your house sometimes addressed to your mom. Most of the time, she would open them to find it empty and say "it must be from Phil"! We would ask on a fairly regular basis until he retired, "did Phil send anything yesterday"! Man of great humor--he will be missed.
